A e-Bikes (Sur-Ron Australia) the company was created to bring electric dirt bikes to the Australian market.
The Brennan family behind A e-Bikes have both motorbikes and electricity in their DNA. With 5 electricians and 3 generations of bikers, we truly have passion for both these elements. Adam has been riding dirt bikes for over 35 years, and has been searching for the ultimate electric dirt bike for the last 12.
In June 2017 we came across the Sur-Ron company and its first model the Light Bee. A e-Bikes imported the first shipment to Australia in December 2017 and they were an immediate hit.
The design and build quality out of the box was far above our expectations, but the true test was with the bike's off-road performance. Once again the bike exceeded expectations. The bike strives on terrain where other bikes failed.
In the following months we clocked over 1000kms on harsh Aussie off-road trails with no issues. Every single person who has tested our bikes has been both surprised and impressed.
The Sur-Ron company has developed a unique hybrid vehicle, a work of art with craftsmanship from a cross-over mindset. The Light Bee is a fusion of downhill mountain bike, off-road motorcycle and electric e-bike. It is designed to be a unique product in the market, lightweight, powerful, easy to use, fun and free to customise.
Its lightweight frame and mid drive design gives it perfect balance, and is very comfortable hitting the Aussie off-road. The 6000 tons press forged aluminium frame is pure beauty, it is both lightweight at 7.8kg and high in strength. Purposeful design packaging and use of quality components assure durability and reliability.
Performance wise the instant torque, agile handling in a 50kg package makes this bike non-stop fun wherever you take it. The adjustable suspension allows the user to dial it in to suit the environment or riding style, and with a wide range of available customisation, this allows the owner to tailor the product even further.
After 5 years of harsh testing in Australia, everyone agrees that these bikes are awesome.
What began as a personal quest has now become a mission to share this great product with other motorbike enthusiasts. This is only due to our passion and belief in the company behind the product.
We cannot wait to see what else Sur-Ron can create in the future.
